At the heart of the city - The Advent of Modernism (1940–1970)

Learn how the construction of tall buildings and transport infrastructure changed the scale of the business district around Victoria Square. This walk looks at buildings built in a modern language – whether in the International style such as the 1965 Tour de la Bourse or the Brutalist Place Bonaventure, completed in 1967.
