While archaeologists and lovers of ancient civilizations are celebrating the 102nd anniversary of the discovery of the Machu Picchu site by American explorer Hiram Bingham, this ancient site keeps inspiring the whole world with the marvel it represents.
To understand the timeless mystery of Machu Picchu, we must look at it through the eyes of the Inca ancient civilization. For the Incas, the City has to be the mirror of the Sky, presenting a deeply ecological worldview that continues to inspire us today.
