As a response to the tragic news of the collapse of the garment factory in Bangladesh and the death of more than 1120 workers, Christ Church Cathedral is holding a Fair Trade Summer Boutique.
The Fair Trade Summer Boutique will feature a special section Ethically Made in Bangladesh of products you can buy to show your support for fair trade working conditions in Bangladesh.

In addition there will be an Advocacy Area where you can:

- learn more about fair trade working practices and standards
- find out how your actions can help to try and prevent further human tragedies
- petition the Canadian and Bangladesh Government to care about workers as they negotiate trade deals
- write letters to retailers and companies which operate dangerous conditions for workers
