Locative Postcripts: Augmented Contours and Point of Intentions, by Tina Bastajian

This workshop navigates through our augmented reality (AR) tour Pera pARkours, which expanded upon the node ‘palimpsest’ from Topologies of Chance to explore past/present Armenian presences via a carefully scripted tour using video, audio and images tethered to specific locations. These points of interest (POI’s) once insitu also became out-of-sequence which offered an insight into unstable modes of sequencing in augmented reality. Using the logic and architecture of a CMS (content management system), participants will work on speculated augmented reality scripts and POI’s to foster urban and location based storytelling in Montreal, Istanbul and beyond.
