grew up in Boston and in the rolling hills of Massachusetts, and since 2008 has happily made Montreal her home. Described as “being a musical jewel”, Kim is a versatile singer of jazz standards, the blues, and funk music.
She has shared the stage and performed with a variety of great musical legends. From Jimmy Cliff to Cecil McBee, from the New World Japan Philharmonic Orchestra to Olu Dara, from Eric Alexander to the Wailers, from Grady Tate to Yosuke Yamashita, from Maceo Parker to William Parker, and from Igor Butman to Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers, Kim has sung and swung with verve and grace.
