As the “Baby Boomer” generation faces the decisions and dilemmas surrounding retirement and the transition from active parenthood and full-time employment, many seniors are confronted with a vastly different set of options and scenarios than their parents faced. Participants will receive a pre-session questionnaire that will help them to arrive at the session with issues that they want to resolve as well as solutions to some of the challenges that all seniors face in our society. This session will clarify and correct misconceptions about aging and health, financial considerations, choices about where to live and how to use the time available to retirees. The importance of life-time learning, forming and maintaining new relationships, caring for aging, dependent parents and important legal matters will be addressed.
