RedElvisesstartedasaRussiangroup,playingwhattheydubbed"SiberianSurfRock".Sincethen
thebandhasincludedmusiciansfrommanyothercountriesincludingUnitedStates,Israel,Puerto
RRiiccooaannddBBuullggaarriiaa,,ttoonnaammeejjuussttaaffeew.Everyonewhoperformswiththemforanylengthoftimebrings
somethingdifferentbothenergeticallyandmusically.Atvarioustimesshowshaveincludedkeyboards,
accordions,sax,clarinet,trumpet,flute,banjo,mandolin,tubaandmanyotherinstruments.Oldand
newfansalikecanexpecttobesurprisedatshowsagainandagain,howevertherootsofRedElvises
remainthesame:Igor'suniquebrandofhumorcombinedwithguitarbasedrock'n'rollthatmakes

IgorleftRussiaforAmericawithhisfolkbandLimpopo.The"CrazyRussianFolk'n'Roll"groupwere
personallygreetedbyRonaldReaganandproceededtowinEdMcMahon'sStarSearch.
RedElvisesbeganin1995afterIgordreamedthatElvisPresleycametohimandtoldhimtostart
playingrock'n'roll.NotonetosaynototheKing,IgorandhisRussianfriendsstartedplayingonSanta
Monica's3rdStreetPromenade.Theirstreetmusiciandaysdidnotlastlong,however,astheydrew
ssuucchhhhuuggeeccrroowwddsstthhaatttthheeCCiittyyooffSSaannttaaMMoonniiccaabbrroouugghhtttthheemmttooccoouurrttaannddoorrddeerreeddtthheemmooffthestreets.
SincethenRedElviseshavebeenconstantlytouring,withoccasionalbreaksfromtheroadtorecord
analbumortakepartinfilmandtelevisionprojects.Thisconstantworkforthelast15yearshasledto
themgainingaworld-widefollowing,withsuccessfultoursalloverNorthAmerica,EuropeandRussia
(RedElvisesbootlegshavebeenfoundinSiberia).
