Coming off of the successful 2011 international American Idols Live Tour which
in Manila, Philippines, Pop and R&B sensation Jacob Lusk is poised to be one of the music
industry’s next great talents. Jacob’s humble beginnings took him from the choir loft of his
hometown church, to winning over the hearts of over thirty million television viewers weekly.
His Rendition of "God Bless the Child" was considered by the judges to be "the best ever" on
American Idol. Subsequent performances of the Motown classics "You're All I Need to Get By"
and "A House is Not a Home" drew critical acclaim that garnered comparisons to musical icons
Aretha Franklin and Luther Vandross. Prior to being a finalist on American Idol Season Ten,
Jacob was featured in numerous plays across the Los Angeles area and had worked with late
west coast Hip Hop pioneer Nate Dogg, who collaborated with Dr. Dre, Tupac and Snoop Dogg
throughout his illustrious career. Jacob often credits Nate for launching his musical journey.
Within a year of honing his craft, Jacob has performed with Empress of Soul, Gladys Knight,
Stevie Wonder and gospel star Kirk Franklin. He has already recorded with super-producers
Tricky Stewart, Rodney Jerkins, Harvey Mason Jr. and the legendary Don Was. Currently
working with R. Kelly’s songwriters and under the guidance of Gladys Knight’s management
team, Jacob is working on developing his career further. Jacob recently appeared on Las Vegas’
highly viewed More on Fox to promote his special guest appearance at the House of Blues
Gospel Brunch. He also performed at the Silverton Hotel and Casino and was welcomed onto the
stage to sing by Las Vegas headliner George Wallace. Jacob’s performance received a standing
ovation by the amazed crowd. A talented singer, songwriter, and actor, Jacob Lusk has proven
