Opening of the Anti-Civ weekend and film screening
Place: DIRA Library, 2035 St-Laurent (métro Saint-Laurent)
Time: The evening will begin with a '5 à 7', followed by the screening, at 7pm, of excerpts of the film 'Un siécle de progrés sans merci'

Workshop/discussion: Resistance Against Industrial Development and Western Civilisation
In the present context of the biggest industrial project of Quebec’s history (Plan Nord), a project among many in a global context of industrial exploitation of vast territories, loss of biodiversity and of cultural diversity, we invite ecologists and anarchists to address and discuss the issue of how industrial development and Western civilisation affects our communities and the natural world that allows us to live, and on how to defend ourselves against projects that seek to undermine our lives and our freedom.

Screening and teleconference on the struggle against pipeline development in British Columbia
A teleconference presentation about the crucial struggles against pipeline development on unceded and occupied Wet'suwet'en territories by Toghestiy and Freda Huson. The presentation will be preceded by the first part of Franklin Lòpez's new project called Stop the Flows.
