Empowering the Sandwich Generation

This interactive, hands-on workshop aims to inform, empower and support those caught in the Sandwich Generation between the diverse needs of aging parents/relatives and children. Together we will brainstorm and discuss solutions to the challenges of being part of the Sandwich Generation.
This workshop will appeal to anyone currently feeling sandwiched between the diverse needs of an aging parent/relative and growing children, as well as those professionals and volunteers working with them.

Facilitator
Kelly Howarth, M.Ed., has worked in human resources and recruiting, taught job search strategies to career education students; she currently teaches Human Resources Management and Supervision at College de Rosemont. She has worked with adult educators interested in helping their learners apply prior learning recognition to their own resumes and professional portfolios.
